John S. Bradley
M.D. Dr. Bradley completed his Pediatric Infectious Diseases training at Stanford University in 1981 and spends his time divided between clinical medicine and clinical research. His clinical research priorities are the development of effective therapy for neonates, infants and children with infections caused by multi-drug resistant Gram-negative bacilli and MRSA, working closely with pharmacologists and microbiologists, using pharmacodynamic/pharmacokinetic modeling techniques for dose optimization. He is Professor and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSD, and at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego. He served on the FDA’s Anti-Infectives Advisory Drug Committee, and appreciates the role regulatory agencies play in making safe and effective therapy available. He is a Section Editor (Antimicrobial Reviews) for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Journal, is the Senior Editor of the AAP’s Nelson’s Pediatric Antimicrobial Therapy, with John Nelson. |
